Vladmir Vega is a musician and actor with twenty years experience as a professional artist. As well as touring with the Grand Union Orchestra since 1983, he has toured and played with the Shor of Hands at the Royal Albert Hall. As well as performing for others he also writes and performs his own songs and instrumental pieces. He has performed extensively both on the festival and concert circuit, and has had many television, radio and theatre appearances. Notable appearances include Ken Loach’s ‘Ladybird-Ladybird’ and 11’09” 01 for which he wrote the music and collaborated on the script and which won the ‘Critics Award’ at the Venice Film Festival in 2002.
